
António Pedro Nobre
António is an author of 4 travel books and various newspaper articles about travelling through Europe by train (published in the Netherlands and Portugal). He toured over 200 000 km and thus visited around 30 European countries and Morocco. In 2012 he directed a documentary about this type of travelling, called "40 Years On Track - The InterRail Pass Story."
He graduated in screenwriting at ATCAS (EPI), Lisbon, Portugal. In 1997 he worked for TV/Cinema/Radio, in the department of international advertising agency McCann Erickson Portugal. Since 2001 he works as a freelance and makes living as a screenwriter and Assistent Director for tv programmes and commercials, music videos and corporate films not only in his native land but also abroad. He is also in partnership with the QQ studio in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
He specializes in music videos and collaborate with various artists throughout the world. He documents music and art festivals like Colours of Ostrava, Meeting with guitarists or Janáček International Music Festival.
António also worked with cultural institutions like National Theatre of Moravia and Silesia, Janáček Philharmonic, or Janáček Conservatory. Last but not least he is a member of English speaking theatre group called Enthemor and non-profit institution Alba Club International that advocates multiculturalism in the Czech Republic.
